Haunted Eureka Tour Company
Tales and legends of downtown Eureka Springs, the
Basin Park Hotel, and the original residents
that never left.
Do you believe in ghosts?
Nestled in the hills of the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas lies a vibrant little tourist community called Eureka Springs. Tourism being the main thriving business of the community is always a draw for those looking to relax, rejuvenate, or renew from their busy every day lives. There are those however that come looking for more.
For years many have heard of the Crescent Hotel and the legends that surround her history. Thousands have heard the tales of Michael from 218, or the bloody history of Dr. Baker. Until now most have walked the picturesque streets downtown without thinking twice about paranormal activity outside the Crescent.
That illusion of limited ghostly encounters is about to change. For years locals have experienced connections to the next level of existence downtown. Many of those locals have worked in restaurants, shops, and hotels in the downtown area. The Basin Park Hotel located in the center of town not only has an exciting history from the wild west days, but is also extremely active in the paranormal world.
Spend an hour with us and learn about the Chaplain that saw a full grown lion, the little girl that walks thru the wall in 308, or the parties that never seem to end in the 6th floor ballroom. We'll show you where the secret room was to conduct gambling during the 40's when Joe Parkhill thumbed his nose at prohibition. And we'll lead you up the street to experience the Great Eureka Bank Robbery of 1922. Some even still see the bank robbers dashing across the street only to die on the limestone sidewalks.
Even though sightings cannot be guaranteed during the tours, many have left having their hair pulled, pushed from behind when no one was there, or actually heard voices whispering in their ears from unknown sources. Many have left with photographic evidence in the form of orbs on their cameras. So be sure to bring cameras with you!
Tours are on Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm beginning March 14th.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $7 for children under 9 and may be purchased at the front desk of the Basin Park Hotel.
